Musician applications for the 2018 season are now open!
The Sugar House Farmer's Market is looking for local musicians to play at the market! Music is a huge contribution to the atmosphere of the market and we love supporting Utah's local musicians. If you believe your genre fits the market atomosphere, we want to hear from you!
Please first read the terms and conditions outlined below to ensure you are able to adhere to the guidelines. If you are selected to perform, we will get back to you regarding scheduling and conform your availability.

Market Information:
Every Wednesday, beginning July - September from 5 pm - 8 pm at Fairmont Park.
Performance Details:
Musicians will perform under a covered pavillion and are expected to perform rain or shine. Musicians are expected to play the duration of the market, with no more than three 15-minute intermissions. Please arrive with enough time to set up prior to the market start time.
Musicians are responsible for providing their own equipment, including amplification. Electrical power is available. Performers are allowed to sell CDs and collect tips during performances.
Conduct:
Music must play at an appropriate volume. Due to the close proximity to vendors there can occassionally be issues with volume that interferes with vendor-customer interactions. Volume must be immediately turned down from request by any Sugar House Farmer's Market staff.
Please remember that this is a family event and lyrics must be appropriate for all ages.
Cancellations/Tardiness:
All cancellations by bands must be done at least a week prior to performance. Please be courteous and give us enough time to schedule another musician. If you need to cancel, please contact the market manager at MarketManager@sugarhousefarmersmarket.org. If there is a chance of late arrival the day of the performace, please contact us as soon as possible.
The Sugar House Farmer's Market has the right to cancel the market. If this occurs pror to the start of the market, musicians will not recieve payment.
Payment:
Payment will be recieved via check the day of the market and will be negotiated with market staff. Final payment will be agreed upon proir to official booking.
